Finding
the Right School
The internet
is an excellent resource for students looking to gather information
about U.S. schools. Any college or university you are considering
is probably on the web, and a wealth of information should
be available at their sites. There are also many internet
sites that can help you search for schools by various criteria,
such as geography or cost.
While
your goal is to identify several schools where you want to
apply, be sure to investigate your colleges of interest thoroughly
(for some ideas, see How Will
I Fit In?). Remember: you may have to spend up to four
years of your life there. You will want to ask any college
you are interested in to send you a school brochure with a
list of classes offered, in addition to the enrollment (application)
materials and information on financial
aid. |
